Module Overview

NeoZygisk is a lightweight Zygote injection framework for rooted Android devices. Built to replace Magisk’s built-in Zygisk, it uses ptrace to execute custom code system-wide. It enables advanced root modules for KernelSU and APatch while hiding root traces from security applications.

I swapped out standard Zygisk for NeoZygisk on my KernelSU setup and noticed an immediate difference in system stability. It injects code directly into the Zygote process to run my favorite root modules, while its aggressive unmounting strategy completely hides my root status from stubborn banking apps.

Why Do People Use It & Why Is It So Popular Right Now? People mostly rely on this module to bypass aggressive root detection APIs, like Google's Play Integrity. Right now, it is surging in popularity because traditional root-hiding methods fail against modern banking and enterprise security. NeoZygisk tackles this by manipulating mount namespaces in the background. This creates a pristine, untouched environment for any app you put on the DenyList, letting you keep your root privileges without triggering security bans.

Core Features

  • Universal API Compatibility: Runs all your existing Magisk Zygisk modules without any code changes or extra configuration.
  • Aggressive Trace Cleaning: Automatically wipes out injection footprints the moment modules unload, keeping your file system clean.
  • Advanced DenyList Stealth: Blocks specific apps from seeing your root status by unmounting root overlays before the app fully launches.
  • Minimalist Architecture: Skips unnecessary bloat to reduce CPU overhead, meaning your phone stays fast and battery life remains untouched.

Support & Requirements

  • Android Versions: Android 8.0 up to Android 16 (Includes 64-bit devices and custom ROMs like GrapheneOS).
  • Root Types: APatch, KernelSU (v20000+), and Magisk.

How to Install

  1. Download the latest NeoZygisk release .zip file to your device storage.
  2. Open your root manager app (Magisk, APatch, or KernelSU) and navigate to the Modules tab.
  3. Tap "Install from storage", select the downloaded file, and reboot your device once the flashing finishes.
